My name is Katherine Lind. Four years ago, I began writing The First Hotel on the Moon — a strange glittering story of old-fashioned science fiction. I wrote four drafts and then dove into the evil trenches of querying, where the book was snatched up by my wonderful literary agent Mark Falkin. Then we went on sub, and finally we met the fantastic folks over at Bad Hand Books.

That’s why this website originally existed — for me to meet you, my divine reader. I’ve loved storytelling and science fiction since I could read, and I can’t wait to bring you upstairs with me. And then I get to send you the pre-order link.
